You Have a Case of the Mondays

June 26, 2017 by Carrington Leave a Comment

It’s an iconic scene inĀ The Office… the trudge of office existence superbly captured in all its big screen glory. The movie’s a classic because it hits home for many of the 80% of Americans who dread going to work.

I used to have a case of the Mondays. My Saturdays and Sundays were shadowed by the Monday dread flirting in my periphery.

When I joined Beyond I thought I would never have a case of the Mondays again… but I was wrong.

Despite having great plans with the family, solid New England weather, and entering the weekend fresh from a great and productive work week, I’m thinking about Monday.

I have a case of the Mondays.

I can’t wait until Monday. I’m actually excited to don my cape and right the wrongs in my industry and help my team hit their goals. It feels strange to be excited for work.
